What should you do if you see someone Flytipping?
Note the following information where possible: Date, time, place of occurrence. A description of the waste and quantity. A description of the people involved and any vehicle being used and the registration number.
Who should you call to report Flytipping?
If you do spot flytipping, you should telephone the DUMB DUMPERS STOP-LINE on 0845 2 30 40 90 or visit www.dumbdumpers.org where an on-line report form is available. If an incident is ongoing and there is a chance the offenders could be caught in the act, please call the Stop-line or telephone the Police direct. These people are committing a crime and could be fined up to £40,000. In the interest of your own safety DO NOT APPROACH DUMB DUMPERS and do not interfere with illegally dumped waste in case it is hazardous.
