Attitudes & Perceptions Study 2008
30 October 2008
This study is part of a wider research programme which aims to find out more about how people who inhabit the Central Scotland Forest feel about their local environment and how they use the Forest as a resource.
In some respects, the investigation is follow-up to a piece of baseline research undertaken in 2005 - the Social Impact Study. Although the Attitudes & Perceptions study surveyed different people and was based in different parts of the Forest, it did use the same methodology and the same survey scripts. In this way it is hoped that by periodically repeating the research, it will be possible to provide robust and useful data upon which to measure the success of the Forest in delivering one of the Trust's key goals - to make the Forest a better place for people to live in.
Random Individual Survey - Findings from a survey of 750 people undertaken in urban locations within the Forest boundary.
OnSite Survey - Findings from social research undertaken on CSF project sites.
